Welcome!

The Hamilton and Wenham Rod & Gun Club was founded and incorporated in 1976. We are located in Hamilton, Massachusetts. Our membership is limited, but only to the extent that allows full and unencumbered use of the facilities. Our facilities include:

• A wheelchair accessible twenty five (25) yard Handgun range with nine (9) enclosed firing positions;

• A wheelchair accessible one hundred (100) yard Rifle and Black Powder range with four (4) covered firing positions including shooting benches;
   

• A Sporting Clays shotgun range with a five position course using fixed as well as portable throwing machines;
   

• A small Fishing Pond which is opened to members for catch-and-release fishing as well as wildlife observation;
   

• An Archery Range that is set up with fixed targets from fifteen (15) yards to fifty (50) yards. A tree stand is also included;
   

• The grounds include an outdoor camping area with picnic tables, a grill and horseshoe pit for recreation.

The club supports social activities such as monthly meetings, shooting competitions, an annual Clambake and an annual Sporting Clay's tournament against a neighboring club.

Our meetings start at 7:30 PM on the third Tuesday of each month at the American Legion Hall at 37 School Street (off route 22) in Hamilton, MA. Click on the maps below for greater detail describing our meeting site and range location.

In addition, we actively participate in the Topsfield Fair with a Sportsmen's booth each October. Late fall and early winter smelt fishing trips are something we look forward to.
